Dr. Joan Grace Valina is a highly skilled and sought out general and cosmetic surgeon. She is triple board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, in Cosmetic Surgery by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and in Facial Cosmetic Surgery by the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery.
She completed her General Surgery residency at Michigan State University and Loyola University Medical Center. She completed a Minimally Invasive Foregut Surgery fellowship at Allegheny Health Network. She has enjoyed training medical students and residents at teaching facilities. She volunteered in developing countries performing numerous general surgeries. She worked for underserved communities for years doing general surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and trauma surgery before deciding to focus on cosmetic surgery.
She has won many awards for her artistic talents in drawing, painting, and mixed media. She has a keen eye for aesthetics. Yearning to apply her artistic talent to her surgical skills, she completed a Cosmetic Surgery fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. She underwent additional training with multiple well-known cosmetic, oculoplastic, and plastic surgeons from Seattle, Tampa, Miami, and Sarasota, including Philippines and Russia. She has performed thousands of surgeries. She focuses on your aesthetic needs and desires from facelifts, necklifts, breast augmentations, breast reductions, breast lifts, female to male top surgery, abdominal etching, liposuctions, abdominoplasties, and many more. She also performs minimally invasive aesthetic procedures.
